Job Description
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
Ensure that interior design plans comply with building codes and inspection regulations
Finalize plans using CAD applications to varying degrees of detail as required by the project, including design plans, floor plans, electrical layouts, and information needed for building permits
Develop a project timeline and estimates for project costs
Obtain client approval for interior design plan and cost estimate
Place orders for all supplies and materials
Oversee installation of the design elements
Debrief with client after project completion to ensure that goals were met and the project was done to the customer’s satisfaction
