Job Description

Quality control & quality assurance
- Preparing projects planning & tracking progress on weekly basses.
- Must provide training to all the project site staffs and contractors for quality work.
- Random checking of on-site ongoing work for best output & less wastage
- Tracking day to day planning & preparation of next day planning
- Ensure checklist filled by engineers’ & supervisors’
- Raise requirement to purchase for material requirement well in advance
- Material request to purchase department
- Liaisons with agencies for on-time work completion or issue solution
- Understanding of drawings & acknowledge changes to planning department with remarks in drawing
- Co-ordinate with consultants for drawing and identify errors within the drawings and get it correct from the consultants and keep all the corrective drawings on site
- Must provide his valuable suggestions/ inputs with respect to project plans, drawings, working method, process & materials
- Ensure safety of all site individuals to avoid on-site accidents
- Control & ensure wastage of material as well as rework
- Execution of task on time exactly as per instructions from engineers
- Supervision of work quality
- Keep track of safety measures, ensure all the safety standards are maintained and followed by workers
- Keep control on material wastage and ensure proper utilization of materials
- Proper supervision of contractor's work
- Ensure proper presence of manpower of contractor and in case of deviations, inform to jr. Eng.
- Ensure contractors complete the assigned task on time, accurately and maintaining proper quality standards
- Ensure proper cleanliness and arrangement of materials at work place
- Checking quality of all material before unloading & incase of quality defer, communicate with site store executive & site chief engineer
- Random check of store
- Random check of security register to ensure material entry as well as site visitors details
- Guidance to engineers, supervisors for desired quality result
- Reports collection from engineers related to daily on-site manpower
- Coordinate with customers for changes
