Job Description
Develops annual goals and oversight of each service in conjunction with service heads and senior management.
Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction (members, vendors, providers, regulators, accreditation agencies, RDVMs, peers and employees).
Anticipates and identifies key source information to analyze problems clearly and determines creative solutions. Identifies trends, problems and opportunities conduct root cause analysis. Implements action plans in an effective and efficient manner aimed at promoting goals/resolving barrier issues; strive to improve efficiencies in key operational areas.
Knowledge of clinical practice of medicine, health care delivery systems, utilization methods and treatment protocols
Possess a patient-centred orientation to promote and advance a culture of quality and safety.
Accountable to the CEO & Board of Trustees for the quality, safety, and efficiency of clinical services within the hospital and for the effectiveness of the patient care review and other assessment functions delegated to the Medical Staff.
