Job Description

Meeting with clients to interpret the concepts they want to communicate and note their requirements.
Determining strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience.
Preparing layouts or mock-ups of a design using illustration, text, photography, colour and computer-generated imagery, either by hand or using computer software.
Presenting designs for client approval and feedback.
Organising the production of proofs and liaising with suppliers.
Preparing designs for digital or print publication.
Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and the material is printed to the highest quality.
