Qualification : BE Electrical with

Experience : At least 4-5 years in a similar position in a Chemical, Pulp & Paper
Industry for graduate engineers. For Diploma candidates the minimum experience is 8-
10 years.
Job Description :
Handling the following:
1. All field measurement devices like , pressure transmitters, level transmitters (DP
,ultra sonic, radar etc) temperature transmitters, flow meters (Orifice plate,
Magflow, mass flow) for fluids like slurries, water, steam, liquid chemicals etc.
2. Field actuators like control valves ( butterfly, characterized ball valve, globe valve
etc) with good understanding of positioners, P/I transmitters etc. Repair &
calibration of control valves will have to be done as and when required.
3. Programming calibration and parameterization of field transmitters and control
devices.
4. Erection and commissioning of VFDs for motors and setting up &
parameterization of the drives for different applications.
5. Good understanding and setting up automation products like PLCs & DCS for
different process control applications. Must have the understanding of building
logic programs based on process requirements. Should have worked in some of
the following automation systems like ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa, Emerson etc.
Should have proven track record and must be able to do troubleshooting and
rectification of problems as and when required by the process team.
6. Good understanding and all repair and maintenance of field transducers and
devices like pressure & temperature gauges, RTDs, thermocouples, etc required
for chemical manufacturing processes.
7. Good understanding and relevant repair and maintenance of all analytical
devices used in process plant measurements like –pH & conductivity sensors
etc.
8. Must be able to understand P&IDs PFDs and set up schemes and automation
solutions as and when may be desired by the operations team.
9. Should have a good understanding of all types of heating devices consisting of
SCR/ Thyristor based control systems.
10.Should be conversant with all modern communication protocols used in
automation and instrumentation systems like modbus, HART, Profibus, FF,
Ethernet etc etc.
11.Candidate must be able to repair & maintain all electronic systems in the plant
and shall be responsible for ISO based documentation and record generation (for
maintenance and calibration).
12.Additional knowledge of electrical systems, switch gears, starters for motors,
PCC & MCC panels etc will be desirable.
* Timing: 9 to 5Pm
* Salary range : up to 35K (Negotiable)
