Job Description
Develop and implement health and safety plans, data capture and ongoing analysis.
Set up and implement hazardous waste, wastewater or toxin management programs.
Oversee and review health and safety documentation and data.
Coordinate safety and environmental audits and actions to remedy faults and remediate.
Consult with all departments to provide expertise and ensure compliance with standards, processes and permits.
Ability to take necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
Participate in manufacturing meetings to discuss workplace safety and regulatory concerns and opportunities.
Actively role model all company environmental, health and safety standards.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with Operations, Managers, Supervisors and employees.
Keep the Operations Manager and Human Resources Manager up to date on matters relating to, environmental, health
and safety.
Assist in the oversight of the Worker’s Compensation program.
Special projects as required.
