Job Description

Buyer Account Manager, Auctions Division

Leading auction house is seeking an experienced, energetic and motivated Account

Manager to join our team. This role is an in-house position and is responsible for the day-
to-day work of the account team on the buyer side of the auction business. We are

seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual, with a strong work ethic and desire to be a
part of our dynamic culture.
This is a full-time position based in Mumbai with monthly travel to Dubai.

• Responsible for handling the physical event planning of the auctions and all duties
and day-to-day work related to the buyer side of the auction business
• Manage existing buyer accounts - including but not limited to scheduling auction
viewing appointments, following up on bid submissions, collecting payment for
auction winnings, and dealing with any inquiries, requests, or issues
• Consistently call all buyers before each monthly auction and schedule viewing
appointments
o Update all comments and account updates in CRM following each call
o Follow up with all clients who could not be reached to ensure all available
viewing appointments are solidly booked

• Call new leads and prospects to onboard them as auction buyers and schedule
them for viewing appointments
• Coordinate with international teams on scheduling clients, registering and
onboarding new clients, collecting payment from winning buyers, and assisting
with any client intervention
• Manage and organize all logistics for auction viewing in Dubai, including but not
limited to venue set-up, coordination of furniture, CCTVs, security, shipping, and
arrangements for all part-time help during event
• Assist with auction closing procedures
• Manage complete invoicing process
• Act as liaison between clients and internal departments
• Register new companies and set up accounts in the CRM system
• Review and process compliance forms for new accounts
Requirements:
• Must be able to travel internationally once a month to auction venue
• Must have solid computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong
proficiency in Excel
• Salesforce experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail as well as solid organizational/time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a must

• Interest in cultivating client relationships and event coordination
• Independent, resourceful, organized, and a self-starter
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with overlapping timelines and meet their
respective deadlines
• Must be capable, trustworthy, personable and have a positive attitude
• Must be flexible to work extra hours and on weekends before and during some
auctions
