Job Description

Coordinate & follow up with Buyers for design, production, technical issue, pricing, shipment etc.
Coordinate with factory (production, dispatch, quality department etc.)
Responsible for production planning, Quality & inventory control.
Follow up with buying House and supplier for feedback for running order with production.
Planning for coming month's orders in terms of operations, output/style & meeting the shipment date
Reduced rework in the production by checking the quality in a proper manner.
Should be able to handle buyers independently and understand their requirements.
Managing price and delivery negotiations with the suppliers.
Managing the approval of fabrics, lab dips, trims and samples.
Raising purchase orders and implementing the critical path to ensure on time delivery.
Following up all sample flow including proto, fit, pre-production, production and salesman samples.
Day to day management of development and production issues.
Ordering and chasing labels/trims where necessary.
Communicating with Sales Department and customers on price, delivery and quality.
Creating size charts and garment specs where necessary.
Forecast stock orders, manage delivery dates.
Sourcing – develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing factories and suppliers.
Occasional factory visits.
