Job Description

Responsibilities of Database Administrator
1. Planning and development of a database, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.
2. Ensuring that data remains consistent and clearly defined.
3. Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
4. Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views.
5. Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
6. Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
Technical Requirements
1. Write and deploy SQL patches
2. Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
3. Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
4. Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS and SSRS.
5. Experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL and Mongo DB)
6. Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations.
Requirements of Database Administrator
1. Proven experience of 6 months to 1 year as Database Administrator.
2. Detail oriented, problem solving skills and focused.
3. Effective and efficient communication tools.
